Editorial and Research Policy
US Practical Guide publishes original U.S.-English explanatory content organized around distinct practical search intents.
Research, not copy-and-spin
We may consult government agencies, standards bodies, manufacturers, primary documentation and high-quality secondary reporting to understand a topic. We do not republish another publisher’s article by swapping synonyms, translating it, or mechanically combining scraped pages. Facts and rules are re-expressed in an original structure and primary references are linked when they materially affect the answer.
Freshness
Evergreen facts are separated from rules that change. Travel, employment, pricing, safety and product-specific requirements should be verified against the current first-party source at the time of use. Reference sets are periodically refreshed; a displayed review date is not a guarantee that an airline, employer, local authority or manufacturer has not changed a rule since then.
Longform standard
Length is not a ranking target. A page becomes long when the intent benefits from a quick answer, inputs, step-by-step method, decision table, scenarios, safety boundaries, examples, sources and related questions. Repetition added only to increase word count is removed.
Medical, legal, financial and safety-critical topics
General information is not a substitute for an appropriately qualified professional. The site avoids presenting generic editorial content as individualized medical, legal, financial, electrical, structural or vehicle-safety advice.
Corrections
If a factual error or outdated official rule is identified, the relevant page should be corrected and its modified date updated. Contact us with the URL and the source that supports the correction.
