Start by sealing air gaps with removable weatherstripping and a renter-friendly door sweep. Heavy curtains or a removable acoustic blanket can reduce some sound, but no temporary treatment will fully soundproof.
For one person, a realistic packing window is often 1–3 focused days if clutter is moderate and supplies are ready. A heavily furnished apartment, paperwork, books or last-minute sorting can extend that substantially.
